Who Am I?

Welcome, I’m so glad you found me!

I’m Lauren (she/her/hers), call me LT if you’d like!
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist [#130053]

I’m a Biracial Black and Mexican therapist living & practicing therapy in Los Angeles. I could eat sushi for every meal, cuddle my dog Brooke Davis for hours, & watch Insecure until the power goes out (then keep watching on my phone until the battery dies). I enjoy curling up with a good book, when it rains, & spending hours baking in the sun, when it’s not. Despite California stereotype, hiking is not my deal, but I’ll jump at the chance to wander a museum any chance I get.

My therapeutic approach is one of collaboration, connection, trust, & respect. As a team, we’ll address & overcome the barriers blocking you from living the life you deserve. I help Black and Biracial women as well as other marginalized people conquer anxiety, depression, grief, and life changes, among others, in order to lead a life that is more authentic and fulfilling.

The goal is not just to survive, but to thrive within your narrative! As a certified Mindfulness Educator, I believe in incorporating mindfulness practice into our therapeutic work to strengthen your ability to remain present & mindful throughout your journey, both in therapy and & beyond.

In our work together, I will never insist I know the best way, but rather walk beside you, providing support & care while you discover your own true path to fulfillment.

I look forward to meeting you!
